Introduction

NCS is a leading technology services firm in Asia Pacific, part of the Singtel Group. When NCS relaunched its brand, it needed a digital ecosystem that could carry the new story across markets — modern, agile and ready for AI. We modernised it: migrating from legacy on-premise systems to a unified Magnolia PaaS platform, then building the AI and automation around it.

The challenge

NCS operates across multiple markets, each with its own languages, content and data-residency needs. The old on-premise estate was slow to change and slow to ship from. NCS needed one platform that unified those markets behind a consistent experience, let the marketing team publish without waiting on developers, and was ready for generative AI rather than retrofitted for it later.

What we did

We migrated NCS from legacy on-premise systems to Magnolia’s PaaS cloud, unifying the market sites under one platform with localized journeys, content and languages — with in-region hosting where residency requires it (the China market on AliCloud). On top of it we built generative AI components integrating ChatGPT for personalized, contextual content, introduced a centralized teaming capability to streamline collaboration, integrated Salesforce Marketing Cloud across the markets, and put CI/CD automation in place for faster, lower-risk releases. We keep the estate running and current on a long-term retainer.

The result

A modernised digital ecosystem that’s faster to run, easier to publish on and ready for what’s next: multiple markets unified behind a consistent experience, generative AI woven into the content workflow, and a future-ready architecture built for continuous innovation. The relationship is carried by the firm, year after year, not by any one person.
